Speakers' and Poster Presentations

Below you will find important information to presenters:

Oral Presentations:

Speakers are requested to check-in with the session presider in the conference room ten minutes before the session begins.

Total length of the talks:

Keynote talks: 1 hour presentation including 10 minutes for discussion.

Invited talks: 30 minutes presentation including 10 minutes for discussion.

Oral talks: 20 minutes presentation including 3 minutes for discussion.

Speakers will be able to transfer their presentation file by USB memory stick. It will also be possible to give your presentation from your own notebook with VGA connection. Individual notebooks will need to be connected to the box during the breaks.

The conference room is equipped with microphone, beamer, and computer.

Poster Presentations:

Papers allocated to poster session have been grouped to provide opportunities for in-depth discussion at the 120 minutes poster sessions on Monday 16 and Tuesday 17 January 2017.

Each author is provided with one bulletin board measuring 200 cm high and 100 cm wide on which to display a summary of the paper. Fixing material (tape) will be provided. The boards will be marked with the poster session code.

Authors are requested to display their poster on their allocated board in the early afternoon of the Monday 16 January 2017. In order to present their work and answer questions, authors are requested to be present in the vicinity of their poster on both days  between 17:15-19:15.

Note to all presenters:
We stress how much important is that you make an effort to make the content of your poster presentation address the main question of the conference about the new insights in physics from biology. Moreover you should be aware that we have a very broad spectrum of participants pertaining to very different fields and we would greatly appreciate if you were to give poster presentations accessible to all of them.
