In case you registered for the dinner, you will receive a dinner ticket to allow you to attend.
No on site reservation can be received.
The conference dinner will take place in the W Hotel of Barcelona. The restaurant is at 20 minutes walking distance from the PRBB.
Attendance at, or participation in the workshop constitutes consent to the use and distribution by EPS of the attendee’s image for informational, publicity, promotional and/or reporting purposes in print or electronic communications media.
Video recording by participants and other attendees during the conference is not allowed.

A passport valid for three months beyond the length of stay and issued within the past 10 years is required by all nationals listed in the chart above except (1*) EU nationals holding a passport or national ID card which is valid for the duration of stay.
If travelling from one border-free Schengen country to another however, EU nationals are not required to show a passport or national ID card. It is still recommended that you travel with your passport or ID card to prove your identity if necessary though. Note that Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Ireland, Romania and the UK are not part of the Schengen area, so a passport or ID card is required if travelling to/from these countries.
EU nationals are not required to possess a return ticket or show sufficient funds.
Visas for Spain are not required by nationals of EU countries regardless of the purpose and/or length of stay; and not required by nationals of other countries referred to in the chart above for stays of up to 90 days.
Contributors requiring a letter of invitation to include with their visa application should fill out the invitation letter template and return it to the European Physical Society (firstname.lastname@example.org) for the final signature. The inviation will be returned via email or upon request only via surface mail. The shipment of invitation letters via express air mail will be done at extra cost for the applicant.
The filled out invitation letter must be taken, along with the conference on line registration confirmation and all travel documents to the Spanish Mission (Embassy or Consulate) to apply for a visa. Be aware that for some countries, even a month is needed to get the visa.
The Euro is the official currency in Spain.
Major credit cards (VISA, Mastercard/Eurocard, American Express, Diners) are generally accepted in airports, train stations, hotels, shops, restaurants, and transportation including taxis.
Voltage is 220V, 50 Hz (cycles). One needs to use a transformer (converter) if the appliance one wants to use is 110V. The voltage in the U.S. is 110V, 60 Hz. The wattage of the transformer must match the wattage of the appliance.
The electric plug has two round pins. One needs an adapter plug if one's appliance comes from the US, where two flat pins are used. The adapter plug can be bought at Amazon or at many travel stores.
